Earlier this month we welcomed our friends at Safehinge Primera to our headquarters at Riverside Road, Barnstaple for a day of filming.

We work closely with Safehinge Primera to offer a market leading anti-finger trap solution to our doorsets. Their Project Managers and our Project Managers, here at Principal Doorsets, work closely together on all aspects of each project we collaborate on to provide the best possible and timely service to the customer.

Customer service, collaborative working, and attention to detail, lie behind Principal Doorsets’ success and core values. We ensure that every project and every customer, no matter how big or small, is treated the same and we pride ourselves on a 100% record of delivering our quality products on time.

With more than 400 years’ experience and expertise in doorset manufacturing, we made a promise, as a manufacturer, when we created Principal Doorsets, in 2014, to build value into every project while delivering professional expertise, exceptional customer service and quality doorsets.

Therefore, when you purchase a doorset from us, you can be sure that we will be with you every step of the way. This includes:

Initial enquiry

We will work with you to understand the needs and requirements of your project including schedule, performance requirements, sector specific needs and finishes. This stage includes understanding the architect's concepts, the delivery programme and area completion dates. The more we understand your project, the closer we can control the cost.

Estimation:

To give you the best estimation, we will review your performance requirements against the dimensions and project finishes, ensuring that any certification requirements that are required are covered and that products are within our availability. Once we have costed out your requirements, including timings of obtaining specialist materials, we will generate an honest estimate for you.

Sales:

Our job at this stage is to ensure you get the product that is right for your project. We make everything to order, to fulfil your requirements and so to ensure we fully understand your project, we will be only too happy to visit you and discuss the vast options we have to offer you. Depending on how your project is being managed, we will gladly deal directly with the architect, developer, project manager, contractor, interior designer or any other party involved.

Manufacture:

Throughout your project, our team will work with you to ensure every single detail of your requirements are met to reach the point where you are happy to sign off on the details. This important stage means that the order is ready to go into manufacturing.

Your chosen materials, ironmongery and options will all begin to come together in the hands of our skilled craftspeople and our industry leading machinery. You are very welcome to visit our facilities, by appointment, at any stage during consultation or even to see your actual items being manufactured.

Delivery:

After going through the final checks and rigorous quality controls, your products are ready for us to deliver to you. We will communicate with you when product is ready, to arrange delivery to your needs. After we have made delivery, our customer service team will follow up with you to check that everything is going well.
