The Rises Bexhill, officially known as Combe Valley Hospital, is a £60 million, 54-bed acute inpatient mental health hospital in Bexhill-on-Sea, developed by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as part of its RIS:ES programme to modernise and centralise mental health services across East Sussex. The fully electric, energy-efficient facility will replace outdated units with three 18-bed wards, all ensuite bedrooms, therapeutic landscaped gardens, a neuromodulation suite, outpatient and training spaces, and sustainable features including solar panels and rain gardens. Constructed by Kier Construction, completion is expected by the end of 2025.
