A £3 million refurbishment at North Devon District Hospital’s CT Scanner Suite replaced aging units with a permanent facility housing two Siemens Somatom Xcite scanners, doubling capacity and enabling over 15,700 examinations annually. The upgrade enhanced specialist imaging services like cardiac CTs and bowel imaging while incorporating patient-focused features such as a calming environment and advanced positioning technology.
